Anthropic promises 5 percent of itself to a public benefit fund
Ahead of one of the biggest listings in history, the maker of Claude says 5 percent of its shares will go into a new fund for public purposes, rising as the company's value climbs, with lobbying and political donations ruled out from day one.

Nine machines from ASUS, Dell, HP, Lenovo, Microsoft and MSI went on sale Friday, and they are not just laptops with a better graphics chip. Each pairs a 20-core Grace CPU built with MediaTek with a Blackwell RTX GPU and up to 128GB of unified memory. Nvidia is selling a new kind of PC.
