About The Indeks

The Indeks explains the world plainly: what happened, why it matters, and the numbers that prove it.

We publish across four sections. World covers geopolitics, news and conflicts. Sport leads with football worldwide: the Premier League, La Liga, the Bundesliga, the Champions League and Europa League, MLS and the USL, the Turkish and Scottish leagues, Argentina, Brazil and the US men's national team. Alongside it sit English and European rugby, the NHL, the NBA and the NFL, and remarkable stories are followed from anywhere in sport when they earn their place. Tech covers technology, AI, chips, software, gadgets and gaming tech. Market covers stocks, earnings, trade, housing and money. Every story is built from reputable reporting, checked against more than one source, and told with maps, photographs and charts rather than noise.

The Indeks began as a video channel and publishes daily short films, posts and carousels on Instagram and TikTok, with long-form films on YouTube. This site is the home for the written version of everything we make: the long reads, the data behind the films, and The Briefing, our morning email.

How we work

Facts come from established news organisations and primary records, never from aggregators or social posts. Photographs are credited to the people and agencies who made them.
